Here are four children’s books we recommend for any kids, grandkids, nieces/nephews, etc. that may be interested.
Thank you to Ryan Holiday for sharing these in his excellent monthly book recommendations email.
Hey A.J., It’s Bedtime!, by Martellus Bennett
Reading age: 4-8 years
Fun one by former NFL player Martellus Bennett about all of the toys in A.J.’s room coming to life as she’s trying to go to sleep.
The Little Island, by Margaret Wise Brown
Reading age: 3-7 years
A classic from 1947 by the same author that wrote Goodnight Moon.
The book’s lesson is no matter how small we are, each of us is an important part of the world.
They All Saw a Cat, by Brendan Wenzel
Reading age: 3-5 years
A clear and creative way to show how perspective shapes what we see.
Circle, by Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen
Reading age: 5-9 years
The third story in the Shape Trilogy.
It concisely makes the reader think about being brave, standing by friends, and consider what they know and don’t know when confronting the unfamiliar.
Hope there’s someone you know that may like one or all of those books.
Thanks for reading! Hope you have an awesome day.
